Primary mission: Eliminate poverty in our State
Poverty is an issue we can solve. A symptom of the inequalities in our economic system. Low wages and a lack of opportunity create poverty, which begins a cycle that takes generations to break out of. Poverty is not the result of laziness, substance abuse, or any other excuse those with wealth may use to cause resentment and division between the haves and have nots.
"Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me." Matthew 25:45
